Spotless rooms in this authentic hotel. Great location in the hillside, with lovely gardens.

The hotel was located not far from the local museum, local amenities and access to plenty of excursions for the kids and the centre. The staff was incredibly nice, superbly friendly all the time. The room was beautifully maintained with comfortable beds included. The food provided was great!

great access to nearby parks and local dining gems
I really enjoyed the pleasant views of the mountains during breakfast and the hotel's proximity to great dining options like Baguette Xpress just steps away, making it easy to grab a bite after exploring the area.

Room featured a fantastic mountain view. Location provides a unique experience. It feels tucked away from the hustle.
Finding the entrance proved to be an adventure unto itself. Parking is a mess, not clearly indicated, littered with rubbish, and somewhat cramped. Accessing our room required navigating slippery metal steps, which could be applied too much caution, especially when wet. Inside, the key's stubborn resistance made locking and unlocking the door frustrating. The curtains were poorly hung and not user-friendly. The absence of a hairdryer felt off, especially since it's standard in most places. Added to this, the wet room setup soaked the floor beyond the shower space, turning the bathroom into a mini swimming pool-a concern if anyone's walking around barefoot. Breakfast was disappointing. A bare minimum with poor quality that felt cafeteria-style rather than enjoyable.

will certainly stay here again
The quad room was clean and comfy, with a nice en-suite, a tv, electric kettle, and quality toiletries like shampoo and body soap. Breakfast was a standout, with a full English served quickly. The outdoor garden area was perfect, and parking was available, although a bit tight at times.

The room was modern and clean, with thoughtful amenities like LED nightlights for convenience. I appreciated the excellent shower facilities with a refreshing experience. The breakfast was freshly prepared, with a range of tasty options.
The entrance to the hotel was hard to locate, and the car park area needed tidying.

The Sunday roast was an absolute steal at just £9.95, perfectly cooked and a proper feast! The selection of biscuits in the room was a good touch. Plus, the shower's modern design was great.
Finding the place was a right palaver, with the car park a bit of a tip that could use a tidy-up. The breakfast was a letdown, like trying to eat cardboard-seriously, who undercooks hash browns like that?

Staying at the Marquis Inn certainly felt rejuvenating. I loved the spacious room and really good shower, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The cute staff created a warm atmosphere. The messy car park was a slight downside. A lovely experience.

The staff here are super friendly. My room was quite spacious and had a good-sized bathroom. I enjoyed that the decor was nice and modern. I had dinner in the restaurant with some really good options, but breakfast was quite underwhelming. Tinned tomatoes just don't cut it for me in the morning. The live music on Wednesday night was fun, but it got really loud outside my room, keeping me from getting a good night's sleep. The car parking was tricky and tight. I didn't appreciate finding some stains on my bedding. Everything else was fairly clean, but that detail left me uneasy. It seemed like a mixed bag, I'm not sure if I'd return if I needed to sleep soundly.
